What a lovely sun shiney day to be given my redundancy notice on
Its ok, I could be in a worse position. We do have a small other income. I wasn't enjoying the job, the mileage was awful and the job was very stressful and ate into my own time. But its still a bit of a change after over 10 years.
So I really do need to get my act together as I've been coasting along recently. First things first, I need to get a CAB appointment to try and work out what I can claim for etc alongside the other income. Then I suppose I ought to do the dreaded CV.
Tonight I am going to stop worrying and chill out for a couple of hours. Nothing will have changed by the morning.
Tomorrow I have a few tax bits to sort out, then the appointment for CAB. Along with an inventory of the kitchen and a much reduced grocery list for this week.
Going to be a weird one, I haven't been out of work for the last 20 odd years. Luckily I am used to being skint!
