CSA are USELESS

I split up with my daughters dad when she was 6 months old. That was over 9 years ago. In that time he has paid me £10 for a year through the csa and has successfully avoided them until a year ago, when he paid for a couple of months before leaving his job and stopped paying again. I have since had around 5 payments until last month and they have now stopped. I know where he works, the CSA know where he works...all they have done is left voicemail messages for him to call back. They did speak to him last week and he fobbed them off by saying he couldn't pay as he was working but to call him back tomorrow and he would pay then....ever since then they haven't been able to get hold of him. :(

Is it me or are the csa totally useless. I have tried everything. They seem completely disinterested and i have been ringing every day for over two weeks so my phone bill is going up and i am getting nowhere.it is the most frustrating thing and i have even called the place where the absent parent works out of curiosity to see if he would be there and he has answered the phone....yet the csa can't get hold of him!!!!!!

Am i fighting a losing battle? Do i just give up? It has caused me so much stress for the past 9 years, sometimes i think i should.:(

Just shows you the difference in our MPs.

I would be going back and saying the MP is here to help us.

    Why is your MP useless?
  • Feel your pain, i am 13 years in, £40 received, £97,000 of arrears. Finally got MP involved and my ex has signed on the dole and due to his 2 new kids my 2 wont see a penny!

I do take the view that i wont see any money and that actually if CSA succeed in getting anything then it will show my kids that actually it's 2 parents responsibility to support a child!

Anything we receive will go into a university fund, i suspect i will be topping it up a lot LOL
