I accidentally clicked yes on one of these the other day! i caught the wording o2 as it zoomed off out of sight, annoying you cant change your answer back to no! well this morning i had an email saying your new o2 sims are in the post, and this morning my new sim turned up lol not going to be using it, but at least it was something that is not going to spam my email inbox too much hopefully!

If you follow the instructions here then this won't happen :)

Did you provide O2 with your home address? Because I accidentally click 'yes' on one of the offers (so fast I didn't even see what it was!) and contacted the mag, and they said home address is not provided to the company  Now I'm a bit worried I'll get marketing :(

Happened to me when I first started comping- didn't even realise I'd done it, then the sim cards turned up, then an e-mail from o2 which I junked.

Eventually got another e-mail, but I haven't been inundated with marketing from them.
  • Ahhhh thank you guys for this - I have been boggling over why O2 had sent me a SIM card! I remember accidentally clicking 'yes' on one of these but I couldn't remember what the offer had been!

Unfortunately I think I said yes to one of the more dodgy offers :( The reason I'm slightly worried they have my address is that I haven't received any email spam from them...

So I'm a bit miffed that when I emailed them, they said that personal details aren't shared, but they obviously are as people have got O2 sims in the post!

Ahh that would explain the O2 sim cards that turned up in the post this morning! That must have been what I accidentally clicked on. It disappeared so fast I couldn't tell what offer it had been!

I hate the yes/no offers as if you tick the yes box by accident, you cannot change it! Very annoying!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
  • Also got an O2 card in the post, didn't realise i had ticked the yes box oops. Always tick the no or at least try to. Have been pretty lucky with the comps.
