IPA and pregnancy

Hi,
When I went bankrupt in June last year, I agreed to an IPA of around £100 per month. I am now 4 and a half months pregnant and need to start thinking about buying things for baby. Does anyone have any experience of this and know how the OR might react to me asking them to lower my IPA amount to be able to buy essentials? I'm aware that once baby is here and I'm on SMP I can easily prove this by sending in my payslips etc, and I guess that my IPA will probably be suspended then. Just trying to work out how I can buy pram, cot etc before baby arrives and how to go about asking the OR.
Any advice would be great! Thank you

ring up and ask, each OR is different, I can't see there being a problem, as all reasonable expenses are allowed, I would say a cot, pram etc for a new baby is reasonable.0
