OK if you can find something really cheap to make order up to a fiver.

Thats common with delivery companies it might not be trackable until the day you receive it as john lewis will have a load of tracking stickers they put on items which wont be on the parcels systems until it at their base and is scanned in

I've just had a telephone call from John Lewis to confirm delivery times and my order was for exactly £5 (so free). Wonder if this means I'll be getting it then!

Ive never known them phone .. I bought quite a few things from them in the past, and didnt get a phone call! Has anyone else?

Ive checked on the website my order status and its marked despatched by parcelforce. To do this you need the order number, your surname and postcode.

We could easily work out how many orders have been taken since the start of all this - as the order numbers seem to go sequentially:

i have order number 6795384 taken on Monday, May 07, 2007 2:19 PM.
Thats nearly 5000 orders in 24hrs @ £5 each = :eek: £25,000:eek:
I doubt any of us will get anything !
