Evening, after having my LBM not so long ago its time to face it.
First up is what we owe, worked out a lot more than we thought. Next up is outgoings, again more than we thought. Its proving hard!
Dh is self employed, has more coins than pros. I too am self employed, not earning anything after rent and products so leaving on 9th march. Currently looking for a job.
With nearly £30,000 of debt, house that needs some work doing and no regular income. Years not looking so great!
But we will battle through and get somewhere!

So today, first day of school holidays. Day of being a referee to two boys and of housework, boo!! 3 loads of washing later I can see an empty washing basket, wonder how long that will last.
It was a NSD, didn't go out. Have got 2 days extra work this week, tomorrow and wednesday. Why is finding childcare so hard but needs must and all that.
DH still not being paid from a certain job he did, its not loads but still his wage. Think he's going round tonight to see him and try get it.
He's being offered work by his dad but has kindly declined, that is a whole new story!!
I've had a phone call today about going for a job interview next week. I'm not so sure about it but will go and see what its all about. Applied for 3 more jobs today.
Unfortunately no debt busting occured today, only on the usual bills. Hopefully some tomorrow!Debt 01/2013 £29,880

Well done on your NSD. Not easy during the holidays!
Good luck with the job interview. I hope it turns out to be something worthwhile, but fingers crossed for the other applications if not!I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. Thank you Snaggles!
Been at work today, very long and boring day but its extra pennies for the bank. Thank fully I had free child care today and tomorrow is pretty cheap at a kids club all day.
DH got paid today so £350 at the mortgage arrears. We won't be achieving this months mortgage, yet again back in more arrears. Whys its so hard to get the money in to pay the full mortgage payments every month. Seems to be getting harder each month! £90 paid off one of dh's invoices too.
Applied for 2 more jobs tonight, I will get something to help pay this debt off quicker. I don't want to but really need to get on straight and narrow, even if it pays the mortgage every month and on time!
Not a NSD day today, had to get my dad a card and present, came in at £13 instead of the £30 i would normally spend. Can't help but feel guilty and thinking it's not enough. Oh well!Debt 01/2013 £29,880
