Some advice please.
A company I worked for went into liquidation last year. The pension scheme is fine and was kept up to date. Legal and General scheme.
I worked for a new company for about 4 months and accumulated some pension benefit. This must be transfered in the next couple of months or it will be lost.
The new company I work for has no scheme in place (yet). My question is to whether to transfer the accumulated funds to the old L & G scheme or start a SIPP - putting in the old, recent and contribute going forward.
Thanks.

Your choice is to transfer it to L&G, a stakeholder pension, personal pension or SIPP. You appear to have eliminated stakeholder and personal pension. So, what is it about the L&G or SIPP that appeals to you that caused you to eliminate the other options?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
