Ha my bad about the weekly thing, seems that i need a bit more coffee right now.
I wouldn't post one if it shown on the door about recording no junk mail, we have a sign here saying that for us so I know exactly how you feel about getting it.
Would I really be expected to pay for any not collected? That's a little on the overboard side, but if can earn a min of £60 per week I wouldn't mind, but I don't want to get robbed blind so I'll ask the guy that's been emailing me.
I haven't had an interview or anything, I went on the link which i acquired from Universal Jobmatch, and filled in the details in the boxes on there, and within minutes a guy emailed me and ever since he's asked me a few questions and I've asked him some.0 -
To make £60/week in profit you'd probably need to shift £300+/week in sales which is no small task and will likely take your hourly rate down to £2/hr or thereabouts. Remember you'd also need to declare that income for tax.0

To advertise on universal job match site an employer has to state it is a job, as in equivalent or above the national min wage and for instance in case of kleeneze that they are not breaking rules of site that being section 10.3 which does not allow MLM marketing.
Also a company has to state their true identity, so you would expect a kleeneze rep to state the mags they are wanting you to deliver were hmmm kleeneze, but they dont. Reason is Kleeneze head quaters has told them not to use the name kleeneze.
The top reps of kleeneze since prior to xmas have been abusing the universal job match site to the extent of thousands of jobs(so called) a time. For instance I got a rep saying job was in brighton wanting to sell the job to me in bucks. Wow thats some area this so called rep covers!
Also the company has to be totally up front as in it takes you to watch their video and talk to the rep flogging kleeneze to finally be told you have to pay upfront to start up with them. As in if you cant pay straight away, you will then have a debt to them, which comes out of your first profits. They have packages I believe from about 50/60 to 200 and each has a certain number of mags you are given.
They will argue you can start up for nothing, as in they have one option that gives you just ten mags, hardly going to pay your rent if come off benefits with that, or fifty mags if you pay the next level and 200 the next level etc.....
When a magazine is not returned to you, thats it it is not replaced so you have to buy more if want to visit same number of houses. Also the magazines are seasonal so you will find you have to buy many batches of magazines through out the year, along with you are charged for any communications they send you for instance, I was told kleeneze charge you 7.00 a time for communication/statements and dont forget you will have to pay to replace stationary and also have to pay for delivery of the kleeneze products to your door, nowt is free !!!!!
Some seedy reps will argue if you put in enough effort you can make a living and for some it does work, but you cannot reliably say from one week to the next what you will earn and there is also the issue of the fact that kleeneze reps do not have magazine boundaries, so one street could have six reps delivering in the same week frustrating householders to extent like me they get dumped in the bin.
If you have like me been abused by a kleeneze rep for politely asking them to not keep delivering them as I had a sticker on the door and the reply I got was F OFF, then you are told by HQ that each rep is a seperate agent self employed and they have no way of imposing sanctions for bad behaviour or warnings et al like I was told, anotherwords go away!
The main issue is the other aspect of the business which makes the big bucks for the top sellers who desperately want their free holiday to dubai is by selling kleeneze to others. If the poor unemployed do not find like many it is not for them income wise, they will argue you did not put enough effort in, the rep pushers as I call them, or you did not put enough mags out. When fact is especially in times of austerity and having multiple mags at once, orders soon dry up if they existed in the first place. Now for the person having to go back on benefits it is disastrous and could leave them with rent and debt arrears till back on benefits or gain other employment, but for the rep pushers it does not matter they have got their next catch.....and for each catch even if for a short time does the sales flow the rep pushers get commision on the smaller reps sales and this is how they make big bucks, by having many many underlings. Like a pyramid scheme but not a pyramid scheme. Kleeneze is a legit company, but is oversold to new reps hoping they will soon be paying their full months bills and off benefits.
Also when you contact kleenexe HQ like a number of us did re the universal job match site prior to xmas, they said they did not sanction it would look into it and were dealing with it, via an email. Nothing changed and it appears HQ have no control or dont care can only be assumed as otherwise they could quickly put it to a stop by sanctioning the top reps for abuses.
Kleeneze works they keep spouting, but they should not be on the universal job match site and their reps are happily in cases spouting how they love free advertisement. They are using the universal job site and you might find yourself face to face with JCP or workfare agency having to argue why you should not be sanctioned for choosing not to reply to a bogus company to then find out it is really kleeneze.
If kleeneze really works to the extent they say and again it does for some, then why oh why are they not proud to state who they are and what the costs are upfront on the adverts?
Because many have tried them or come into contact with them and know you have to at least have the min wage to try and regulary pay your household bills rent food etc.... as you have to set up as self employed and as you know you then are at risk of tax credit issues.
Kleeneze HQ is welcome to reply to my post and answer what they ignore so far, why are their reps abusing the universal job site putting vulnerable job seekers at risk. I mean there are thousands apon thousands of kleeneze rep bogus jobs. Our govt proudly lists how many jobs there are on the site for goodness sake and abusers like this put us all at risk of politicians being able to bash so called workshy not taking the jobs that are not there.
KLEENEZE HQ STOP YOUR REPS ABUSING THE UNIVERSAL JOB MATCH SITE. Perhaps MSE could ask them to comment. The sections relevant are 10.3 of the site and the fact you have to guarantee min wage and be upfront with who you are and any costs. Look at the adds they take your data and who knows what also happens to it?:eek:0 -
For up to date efforts from some trying to get KLEENEZE to act input the name into twitter. You will find an array of company names found abusing the job site and the names corresponding to those companies would you believe it, are the top sellers in a lot of cases in the race to get a free holiday to DUBAI.
I would not try to put of an informed person who wants to give it a go to earn extra income, but even HQ got the point there is a difference between it being a job or extra cash and new reps need to have the full picture without the bravardo and we can make this!!!
If householders do not want to buy, you sure will not make that! and even if make a small amount it still needs to be declared if on benefits and as you know will be to most extent reclaimed apart from a few pounds.
Why are kleeneze so desperate to allow this to carry on? Perhaps just a few objectors dont count to them, but if you one by one just dump the mags in the bin, the message will get across. People are fed up of them.
If you want to order from them and like what you see, fine, but also consider how underhand they can be if you have any qwalms or are like me just fed up of six mags in a week and to be told to F OFF no matter how nice you were.

If it helps, Dubai's not all that great ;-)0

Perhaps we should ask they don't come back if they win then x :-)0

Apparently the terms and conditions on the job site changed 18/02 so the sections I refered to are numbered differently, but still supposed to be no MLM and still supposed to actually give the advised national min wage not give false hope and still they are not supposed to be paid upfront hidden.
So Kleeneze reps are still abusers in the opinion of many even though the sections refered to might have moved.
David smith on twitter is up on the points relevant :-)
Section 9.3 is the relevant bit now not 10.3 since 18/02.Seems some jcp do not even know the rules relevant, so if you get encouraged to apply and are not interested quote 9.3.
They dont seem keen to stop the abuses themselves :-(0 -
I did Kleeneze for 6 months when my kids were very little. Lots (and lots) of walking for very few orders, it's a bit of a black hole. I had a few good months around xmas where I took about £150pm, yes that was a good month and I had a niche patch - 2 military estates.
If I remember rightly I had someone come out to see me then I had to pay between £100-£200 up front for the starter pack - brochures, bag, order forms and then pay again for any new brochures that come out or stationary refills. I also had to pay for delivery of the goods.
You can put out as many brochures as you like but many put them in the bin as said above, forget to leave them out or they get wet (the plastic bags leak) therefore you loose money and opportunities.
If you are thinking seriously about this try and find a few little niche areas, perhaps a partners workplace, your own street or school somewhere where you are guaranteed to get the books back and a few orders (however be wary of other distributers and patch wars!).
I dont think Avon charge for books and they have popular products, smaller (less delivery cost).0 -
forgot to say - the potential is there to earn weekly but you need a very big area.
people dont like to see the same book every week (or at all), so you need to do a different area every week to see £100 or so.
I did my 2 patches monthly, there was around 300 houses in total took me about a half a day to drop and half a day to collect. Then theres dropping off goods (usually at night when people are home), getting paid (chasing payment), banking and clearing cheques. Re-packing the catalogues for the next house (300) and doing your figures... You would need to be covering this weekly to make equivelent of a part time job wage.0 -

what do you term half a day?
300 calls would take around 2.5-3.5 hours on an average housing area by my reckoning0
