Because it's switched off at the moment.:rotfl:

Anyone else in the dubious position of having to fork out more money in a short term plan in the hope that you can eventually become debt free?

Well just as a little update I have yet not sold my house which is the intention. Have decided to revamp and do up, all of which costs time and money so it's been sat there waiting for the former and latter to occur.

My cunning plan came to a grinding halt last month however due to work and financial issues, too much of one and not enough of the other:rotfl: .

We have been to the house and started putting in a kitchen, and then looked around and the list (and cost :o ) grew bigger. BTW OH is planning to do as much as poss himself which is moneysaving but time consuming and the kitchen was a second hand number from ebay so I am trying.;)

Anyway next week my OH will have a week off work to try to get as much done as poss.

I cannot go because my daughter has her sats and so I need to be around for the potentially stressful week. For those who do not know my house is a couple of hundred miles away from where I live now.

Short version, bought house down south, met OH who lives in Yorkshire, relocated to Yorkshire, need to sell house down south. Oh and I completely emptied the house of everything (furniture, cooker, pots/pans etc) which I am now having to buy to replace to 'dress' the house for potential buyers. Again have taken own (decent) furniture down and secondhand stuff from the paper or charity shops. Re-carpetted with end of roll bargains, so still trying to keep costs down.

Method behind the madness, well mine was put up first and then another went on the market 2 months later with a £85,000 price difference.
So we figured that if we put in the effort we may be able to narrow the gap a bit.

Needless to say I had just shut my eyes and jumped into to credit card land again purchasing cheap but functional stuff to put back in the house but it's all just running away from me.

I'll be honest I have accrued more debt in order to try and get this flipping house sorted and gone, the mortgage is high not to mention council tax etc and .............well folks I feel a bit overwhelmed really.

Lets not even mention the HIP's (Home info packs) the deadline to escape these !!!!!!s is looming and I cannot see how we're going to get all that needs to be done completed.

I feel very worried and a bit of a fraud that what I am doing isn't moneysaving it's money spending which isn't strictly DFW is it? Any suggestions?

So in the words of Pink Floyd 'is there anybody out there'........in the same position and what to do next, well Pink Floyd didn't sing that other bit but you get the gist.:D
