how do i apply fake face gradual tanning cream.....

...without making it streaky??????
i use johnsons holiday skin on my legs and arms and no matter how hard i try i still get the odd streaky mark.
i have just bought some of the facial stuff, but don`t want to look as if i haven`t washed for a week!!!!!!

    Exfoliate first...either with a good old dry towel, or use something like Apri facial scrub. Then apply a really good non greasy moisturiser that sinks in fast. Wait for about five mins, then apply the facial tan. Best done first thing in the morning - if you do it last thing at night it does go streaky when you move on the pillow. (Same thing for body tan)

    I use Asda fake tan mousse...it's the only one I have found that doesn't go streaky and is a really natural colour.
