I recall a thread like this last year.I think the main purpose is to drum up business for Utility Warehouse.

That's ok. I'd rather that than give them my landline. I'm living with my parents at the moment so if there were spam calls, I wouldn't be the only one dealing with them!

I never give my landline number out. What would happen if you didnt have a landline number. We are thinking about getting rid of ours as we all have mobiles.
