We recently joined the National Trust (family membership), and have visited a few places already which has paid for the membership cost.

Well worth it if you have NT properties reasonably close by, to get the use out of regularly.

Just a quick 'bump' for some who may have missed it. After being at work all week I am really looking forward to tomorrow. I have even booked free train tickets with RedSpottedHanky and the weather is supposed to be sunny. Can't wait

thank you for the post on here, we went an enjoyed a really nice day at Baddesley Clinton, does anyone know how often they do these free weekends? Felt a bit guilty about getting it for free so bought an ice cream!
