Best time to complete - first payment wise

Just received our mortgage offer today with a hypothetical first payment amount if we completed on March 1st, its £650 more than the other payments. Is it true if we complete at the end of a month, the first payment should be nearer the normal amount?

I'm completing on 27th March so I'm expecting my first payment to be taken around 10th April and to be about £60 more than a normal monthly payment given that my daily interest is about £12.60.
