Noddle free for life credit report

Hi all,

Seen noodle free for life credit report. Is there a catch to this or is it really free?!

If its free is it worth joining as Santander sent me a nice letter saying they have updated my credit reports with 2 companies

No significant catch as such.

They do give you targeted offers of loans/credit, which is how they make money, but you are not obliged to take any of them up. Plus will offer you an advanced "score" or somesuch which costs £20 and you should ignore completetly.

The report is only updated from the callcredit database once per month, so don't expect it to always show things that have only just been changed.

Also, if you should have creditors who do not have up to date details for you, then ordering the report will likely alert them of your new address. The same happens with the main reports with Experian, Equifax as well, so nothing special about noddle in that respect.

Is anyone aware of why Noddle will not accept Visa credit cards during the sign-up process?

I am trying to sign up for a free credit report and it will not accept my standard Visa (Nationwide BS issued) credit card.

It returns this message every time:

My partner had the same error, we left it a few days and tried again and it worked.

she used the same visa card both times.
