Can i freeze naan bread?

Hi,
I went whoopsy shopping last night and got an amazing bargain of an Indian meal for 2 for a whopping 10p :j:j:j, i have split it up where i can and froze it but on the packet it said not to freeze the samosa'a ,bhaji or naan bread.
We will eat the first 2 tomorrow as have a picky tea on a sat but not the naan, i always thought it could be frozen:question:

  • I always freeze naan bread - in fact I froze four tonight. Also freezer bhajis, etc. and have had not problem over the years. They are not quick as perky as fresh, but hey ho!

I freeze my namm breads and cook from frozen, just sprinkle a few dabs on water on them and within 5 mins in over (gas 6) there perfect, just turn them over half way through x

I also freeze naan breads (we love the coconut/peshwari ones ) regularly - AND the bhajis, samosas etc - never seen anything to the contrary on the ones that I buy.

Doubt if I'd take any notice even if it said not to :rotfl: - just make sure that they're fully heated through before serving :).
  • Freeze them, and then put them in the toaster straight from the freezer, easy! Just don't over cook them.
