20% off most things in Watford store, still seemed quite pricey...

Popped into my local store this morning and it was busy but as said above, most items were either 20% or 10% off, so no big discounts. I love Republic jeans so picked up a pair which were 20% off.

The staff member who served me was very downbeat about their chances of staying in business, she said she was planning on emigrating to work in her friend's bar in the med. A real shame as I've been shopping in Republic for years and like their clothes, although the quality has dipped in the last 3 years or so.

Prices at Nottingham had been marked down on the tag by 20-25% and then had an additional 10-20% coming off at the checkout. I bought a pair of £20 joggers for £12.

At my nearest store they have posters on the window saying they are continuing to trade, dont think they has much discounted either.

I reakon French connection will be this year, they seem a bit desperate selling on eBay at 90% off. Also their quality is not worth the amount people would pay. Also financials don't look good with 73% reduction on return in the USA and 50% in the UK. So I would say thu will be his year, anyone working for FCUk or Any retail outlet take redundancy insurance. Be safe than sorry!
