Today I have gained £56.00 simply by checking my credit card statement.
Postadvd.com the on line Dvd rental company use a company called Secpay of which have continued to take payments for a subscription of which has'nt been used for over 4 months so needless to say the money has built up.
Postadvd are placing the blame on Secpay and are refunding my money, how'ever my reply to Postadvd is don't fix the blame fix the problem as I am sure they would had held onto my money for keeps >:(
The conclusion is a obvious one and that is to double check the statements as this is the third such error in 4 months.

I just cannot get any response from anyone at postadvd. they have taken money from my card even thought the account is cancelled.I would just like them to respond to my emails or to be able to get a phone number for them.Everyone likes to be innovative, but no-one wants to be the first to try it !!

Hi,
Speak to your credit card company and ask them to refund the money as it has been taken in error.
They will investigate and should refund the money.
They will also charge a recharge fee to secpay.
That should make them pay more attention to their customers.0 -

I have a charge of £6.97 which my credit card is checking for me.
It shows that you should check your statements every month.
I can't believe you did not notice yours for four months!0
