In my local ASDA they were whole fish.0

Bit of a novice with whole fish, you cut the head and tail, gut it, and the do you have to scale them, any tips on cooking, garnish etc?0
-
They should be scaled already because ASDA specialises in doing no mess fresh fish ie you ask for a cook bag, the asst asks you which butter you want (free) . When you get home cooking instructions are on the bag just look for the fish species. You shove the fish still in the bag on a baking tray or similar in oven or in microwave if it says you can.
If you hate it find the receipt and demand a refund. However, telling them it's got bones won't work0 -
Not quite as cheap as our local market. 7 sea bass for £10 today.0

Asda fish come ready gutted and descaled, you can ask the counter staff to remove the head and tail too. I'm a recent convert from baking fish in the oven to steaming in a parcel - my slow cooker has a steamer function.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
