Some questions about comping and certain sites. Please help

Hi.
I'm new to the forum and have recently started comping. I just have a few questions, if anybody could be kind enough to answer them I would really appreciate it.
Firstly, what is the alphabet list?
What is the star sign list and what do these lists have to do with comping?
And thirdly is the site greatcompetitions legit? I only ask because I never win lol and because their previous winners list hasn't been updated since April 2012.

Not a clue re alphabet list,star sign list or Hesse lists.I've not heard of such re comping but that may just be me.

Great Competitions is quite legit & many have won on here via ElverMans posts,in the main.
Via this link you'll see that lots are posted & no concerns have been raised.
I've even won via Elver Mans posts on Great Competitions :-)

I think with the alphabet/star sign lists you mean the challenges in our sigs? (like I am doing alphabet )
It's just a personal challenge we've set ourselves this year, we're all doing different ones. Like with the alphabet challenge, I am trying to win a prize starting with each letter of the alphabet. They're just for fun

& know of others that have, it's very legit
