Everyday hairstyles?

I usually straighten my hair in the morning and either leave down and straight or put it up in a bun. I have long hair (below shoulder length) that doesn't hold curls well.
Does anyone have any tips for quick, everyday hairstyles that are a bit different? Getting a bit fed up wearing it the same way all the time!
Thanks

I've got straight shoulder length hair, and I'm afraid it's either a ponytail or a thin rigid hairband all the way for me. Can't be doing with anything elaborate."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

What about sleeping with a sock bun in then take it out in the morning for soft curls, spritz before rolling up with hairspray to help hold the shape.
Alternatively use straighteners to flick the ends to create a different look.

Have you ever tried braiding? French plaits can look quite nice once you've got the hang of them. Try it without straightening first, if you make your hair too sleek the braid will not hold.0

Have you heard of pinterest? You can get the app for an iphone or find the site online. They have whole boards dedicated to hairstyles. It's great for inspiration.0

I am so in the same boat.
My hair is to heavy to keep curls so it is a thin band or a mega bun with little silver clips and pins in to look interesting lol.
I do a pony tail but it looks rather smart. I put a side parting in and sweep the biggest side about a couple of inches depth and hold it out of the way. I brush the rest up into a pony tail so i have a big flappy bit of hair down one one side at the front. I comb that through and pull the bottom of it under the pony tail and wrap it round and round where the bobble is so you cant see it and stick a grip into it. Looks smarter and like you have made an effort when you have not really!
I work in an office and keep to boring but smart hair, where as in real life i love the boho scruched hair with flowers in it0
