I am taking a trip to the market tomorrow morning with the kids. Where is the best place to park? I realise that it will not be that cheap, but any suggestions would be great.

Where you travelling from? The market is a 5 minute walk from Central Station. Nearest car park is probably under Victoria Sq - on street pay and display but not sure of time limit in that area - probably an hour maxJohn0

Travelling from Antrim direction. Would be travelling in car, and thought that the Victoria place might suit better than from Castle Court place. I don't really want to be under a time limit in case we pop in somewhere for an early lunch.:beer:0

How about Park n Ride? The Northway one wouldn be the handiest for you, and the bus leaves you in Donegall Place?
Heres a link to the map of all Park n ride...

Victoria Sq is really expensive for parking, I would recommend St Anne's Square (behind Ramada Encore hotel) - it's only £1.20 per hour though a bit further to walk, maybe about 15 min max via Victoria Sq
Oh, and there are some great restaurants in St Annes Square plus the new Mac theatre/art gallery. Most of the restaurants are running BackIn Belfast deals tooThe Daily Mail

St Anne's square good price for parking or The car park across the road at the Hilton / waterfront. I think it's about £1.80 an hour and quite close if you have shopping to carry.0

The car park at the Ormeau fire station is even cheaper (and close by), or there's one on Cromac Street that's £1 an hour and closer again!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Thanks for all your great suggestions. We made the trip today and parked in a carpark opposite the nambarie tea building (I think it was corporation st?). We walked to the market looking at the 'big fish' sculpture on the way etc.
Went to Victoria Square and had a nosey about there too. The view from the top was wonderful and well worth going to have a look.
Oh, I should say that we did buy a huge 'whole fish' which I am cooking tonight with chips! So if you fancy that for your tea...you are all welcome:beer:0
