No Salary mentioned on Job offer

Hi There:

I understand some employers/companies decide not to mention the salary on offer and that this will be given according to experience etc.

But I have recevied an email from a Co. I apply for a job 6 months ago and giving me all the details of the job but no mentioning the salary, asking me to contact ehm if I am still interested to arrange an interview.

Now, I am currently working and it suits my needs and other family obligations and I would rather keep the same job unless a much better salary offer is made.

Is it ok to ask for the salary to this Co. and How can I ask? thanks for your advice

Sorry - you haven't been offered a job, just an interview. Of course you can ask about the salary.

But should they offer you a post, they should be outlinng all benefits, including pay, annual leave entitlement, pension etc in their written offer.

or, you can say "I am very interested, but I don't want to waste your time. I'd be looking for '£x' to move, are we in the same ballpark?"

I know I have not been offered a Job, but I do not know how much is circa. the salary offered for the position.

So, Does it means that I can send them an email asking what the salary is on offer?, just worried this can be looked as wanting to change for better salary only (which could be true in my case) but not good to said out loud...right?
How can I ask this? :A

    Dear X,

Thankyou for contacting me regarding your *** vacancy: I am still very interested.

Which date/time do you have in mind for my interview, and what is the current salary scale?

    Yours Sincerley
