Possible Tax Refund?

Wondering if I could be entitled to a tax refund at the end of the tax year, but im not sure how it's worked out when ive been split between work and JSA
09/01/2012 - 13/08/12
Working, earning 16k a year. my P45 says I earned £7309 during this time, and paid £786 tax.
13/08/12 to Present
Jobseekers Allowance. I was sanctioned for three months in late November, which is due to end soon. I have been receiving 60% hardship payments during this time.
Can someone who knows this stuff better than me estimate if I can apply for a tax refund and how much I could receive if so?

If you handed in your P45 to the DSS and have been claiming JSA since (irrespective of whether you receive actual money from DSS) then any tax refund will normally be worked out and paid by DSS automatically shortly after end of tax year. You should also get a P60 equivalent showing how much JSA you got etc a bit like you would from an employer.
If you post your tax code from part 1A of your P45 along with how much taxable JSA you think you'll get from 13-8-12 to 5-4-13 it should be possible to predict the refund you'll get.0
