Not heard fro OR

I went bankrupt in December, had telephone interview 9th Jan but haven't heard anything since. Was I suppose to?

He did mention about sending in payslips but I'm assuming he's going to send me a letter first...or am I assuming too much. Don't want to get into trouble.

I'm still getting calls from my creditors who haven't received anything yet from the OR. I'm wondering if the Christmas period has out them behind or something. Any ideas.

Regards payslips, give your OR a quick ring or email to check.

For contacting creditors, it can take up to 8 weeks or so for the OR to write to or issue a report to creditors, so quite possible - especially with Xmas - that they haven't got there yet.

However, doesn't matter whether they have or not. You have proof of the BR in terms of a BR order, and that is all creditors need to know about. Creditors should not be chasing you, whether the OR has written or not.

Thanks for your response fermi. I will give the OR a ring.

I'm still getting about 4/5 calls a day. I give them the case number and court and they say thanks but then still call me the next day saying they haven't received anything from the OR.

I've also had companies offering final settlements even though I've told them I'm bankrupt. Guess they do whatever they can to get their money.

Tell the OR you are being hassled. They may write sooner to tell them to back off.

There is also this you could email/post yourself if it gets too much.
