Carpet steamer/cleaner wanted - recommendations please

TJ Hughes have the Bissell Quick wash on offer at the moment. I think it was about £75.

I bought a top of the range Bissell Proheat this week from Makro. RRP is £299, but they have it as a special for £117.49 inclusive of VAT. I haven't used it yet, but my friend recommended this one, having bought it after doing loads of research to find out the best one. She has a smelly dog who loves to roll in unmentionalble things and she says that its great to get out the yukky stains. Her carpets look pretty good to me.

I've got a Bissell Oxi Pro. Fantastic cleaner. Cost £295.00 but well worth the money.

Thanks for all the advice - they opted for this one in the end as it was the best offer and hopefully it will work. If not Mr T will get it back!
