hi all,
i have been on esa since 10/5/2011 with depression but after 18 months in a hostel i moved into my new place 6 months ago and am feeling so much better that i want to return to work again.
i was previously a construction worker and had my 10 tonne forward tipping dumper licence and i also have a counterbalance and masted rollatruck forklift licences which expire/need refreshing by april 2013 or i will not be able to use them!?.
i am on a dro until july 2013 so i am after a grant/funding to re take my dumper test (and any other plant licences i can get funding for?) and refresh my flt licences?.
i live in harrogate, north yorkshire and would greatly appreciate any advice on where i can find a grant/funding to enable me to return to work?.
thank you for reading,
steve

Speak to your local FE College who may have access to ESF Skills Support for Unemployment which can fund training, they may work with FLT licence providers and could provide the refresher training. Sadly the full licence is too expensive for most providers who will make a loss on it.0
