My western union took about 3 days to get approved after I had submitted the details
  • So it'll still, likely, be the 30-day turnaround even if I send them the invoice in a couple of days or however long they take to verify me? I've emailed them asking this and they're being shy, currently.
Just give me all the bacon and eggs you have. Wait, wait. I'm worried what you just heard was, "Give me a lot of bacon and eggs." What I said was, "Give me all the bacon and eggs you have". Do you understand?

Yes, I had the same problem when I first started. They didn't enroll me quick enough and I ended up submitting my invoice a few days late. They assured me they would still pay it within the 30 days, and they did.

I think we are all calling them new so each other knows what type but yes more detailed version of the right hand slider. Maybe i'm spending too long on the comment :)

    Fair enough.

I know commenting can be hard, particularly when the task is so in-depth, you just feel like you're repeating what you already selected for the rating.

    I lothe comment tasks btw.

Last question, for now, I promise!

They've approved my Payee enrolment:j and now I'm wondering... having got my IBAN and SWIFT details from the bank, I entered the SWIFT code under "Swift Branch Details" because when I tried putting it into "Bank SWIFT Address" it wasn't having it at all; it said "Must not match specified value".

Have I done something monumentally stupid, or will that see me getting paid on time?

  • Hi Tigerspaul - just to reassure you, although I can't remember the exact details, like you I had to put information into a place it didn't logically ought to go in order to avoid error messages and it went through okay. I'm sure if there is any problem they will come back to you.

Melf1nn and boo_star - I'm finding that I need/want to comment when my researches have found something interesting that's not necessarily apparent on the task, so that I can back up my ratings, and I'm finding that there are a lot of those in the big batch I've been working on for the past week or so. There are a few straightforward ones in the mix, but I'm finding that I'm on or over the time allowed for this kind of task. No doubt they'll be asking me to revise my timesheet downwards....

It's been almost 2 weeks now and I still haven't had a single task!
I have emailed numerous time, different departments and haven't had a reply.

If they are going to sack me, I wish they would just tell me, I don't know if I am wasting my time reading the gg and doing the sims!

Oh, thank you. That makes sense! I've sent my invoice now and I can stop worrying and get on with the work for the time being.

  • As far as the work, and commenting, goes, are we talking about the jobs where something is "required"? Generally I find if there is something that stands out, I'll comment on that. But if there isn't anything I'll just say that the page meets its requirements as well as can be expected. That seems to cover everything from mediocre to pretty good.

Just to give you a bit of hope, I was NRT for about 2 weeks in March time after an UA rating. Work returned not long after but capped to a certain amount.

    Hang on in there!
