Cost of copy statements for OR

Morning all,

I did search but no results, this is a very silly question so consider yourselves warned

I'm getting together my copy statements for the OR & Capital One have quoted me a charge of £3 per statement which they will add to my account that is being included under the br. If they add the charge I will have no intention of paying it so is it dishonest to let them? What is the usual way to proceed? Do I need to make a separate payment via another card?

Hi TSHTF, I wouldn't pay for any statements tbh. The OR can get the copies they want to see from any of your creditors.

The OR have sent me a letter asking me to send them 12 months of bank & credit card statements so the onus is on me to provide them though...

Just tell the OR that you have not got them, they can get any statements they require directly form the CC company, this is what I did when I went BR. The letter you have received from the OR is a standard letter.
