mmm this looks good for ys birthday in March. He has asked for a scooter, though he has a big scooter that doesn't fold, I am tempted as it makes a cheap present and I know he'll love it.

I'm still waiting in hope for some of them to go back down to £2.99 I got some just after Christmas for my nieces, £.99 each plus free delivery, and they have went down a treat so far. Unfortunately at the time the blue scooters were out of stock for the nephews:(

Lots of posters regularly post similar deals - you tend to get bombarded with emails once you sign up to the mailing list.

That is very true I bought one bike years ago and now i get two emails a day - mostly i dont read them but sometimes i do - they always have offers.

Folding scooters like this are fine for younger kids who want to ride along the street and at the park etc.

However, if you child wants to go to a skate park and use ramps even as a beginner that do not stand up to it. My son borrowed his sisters fold up scooter once and as he landed off a ramp it buckled at the folding joint and he went over the top! Luckily he was in full safety gear.
