I have a hypothetical question that i an hoping you guys could shed some light on?
Let's say you are due for discharge on the 1st of July and you don't have an ipa.
You get an increase in income on the 26th of June.
You have a duty to inform the OR within 14/21 days (i can't remember which)
You let them know by post but it arrives to them after discharge so you have done your bit.
Can they go for an ipa after discharge?
Thanks (i know its a strange question)

This despite a lot of Civil servants wearing their underpants outside their trousers...........So an ipa cannot be set up retrospectively?
No....not unless agreement has been made before discharge.
{However, in certain circumstances an OR can seek to extend/postpone the date of discharge.}No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

As a civil servant I have never felt the urge to do such a thing!!
However, as yet another Civil Servant [ or to be correct, UNcivil servant?], much of management above C1 grade imagine that is how they must get dressed in the morning....No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
I am interested to see who would tell their OR about a change in income one week before discharge? Honestly, not just what the rules are........0
