Hiya
Just though I would share my bargain digi camera purchase.
Its a which? best buy !
Only £130
I bought it from Amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fuji-FinePix-F30-Digital-3xOptical/dp/B000FPIM0K/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/026-5977420-0125240?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1178277282&sr=8-1
but I noticed on PLAY they have it with a free memory card

This is what which? have to say
One of the key features of the Fujifilm FinePix F30 is the maximum ISO setting of 3200, meaning that it’s a great camera for taking pictures in dim light without flash. In fact, it’s a very good camera all round – and at 192 grams with compact dimensions it’s nice and portable too.
Picture quality on the F30 is very good, noise is kept under control well. Shutter delay is also reasonably good at 0.4 seconds, although shot to shot time in burst mode is slow – almost 1.8 seconds. At least the burst mode is unlimited.
Features include shutter speed priority and aperture priority modes, for that extra bit of creative potential, but unfortunately no manual focus option exists.
The LCD screen is a good size at 50x37mm, and it’s good quality too. Like most small cameras these days, there’s no viewfinder.
Battery life is excellent and there’s a decent movie mode as well.
Pros: Very good picture quality. ISO 3200. Aperture and shutter speed priority modes.
Cons: Lacks manual focus.
Hope that helps someone looking for a digital camera.
Its a report from April 2007 but already I think there is a new version of this model hence the low price.

Got this camera a while ago and its fantastic.
A great compact for anyone wanting something slightly more than just Auto mode shots, and great value at £130!0 -
Worth noting that it uses expensive XD cards.
Heres a proper review from an expert , im not stuck on Which reports for electricals like cameras :
http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/fuji/finepix_f30-review/
What I liked:
Very good photo quality (though see issues below)
Amazing high ISO performance
Fairly compact body, well put together for the most part
Large 2.5" LCD is visible in bright outdoor light and dimly lit rooms
AF-assist lamp; good low light focusing
Many manual controls
Snappy performance in most areas
Powerful flash
Best-in-class battery life
Nice movie mode
USB 2.0 High Speed support
What I didn't care for:
Above average purple fringing; colors could be more saturated in some photos
No optical viewfinder
Plastic tripod mount and somewhat flimsy door over battery/memory card compartment
Unimpressive continuous shooting mode
Tiny amount of built-in memory
FinePixViewer is pretty basic compared to competition0 -
Hi - just to note the canon a640 can be had for just 117.99 from ebuyer at the moment, because canon are doing a £60 cashback on some of the powershot range.
Specs: Canon Powershot A640 10mp 4x Optical Zoom Digital Camera
Now I believe this is a bargain if your looking sub 130
I have the canon G7 which is 10MP 6x zoom - so not far off the spec of this - and it is stunning - I think the a640 gets some good reviews too.
Cheers

might also be worth a look at the s6500 which is available for sub £1500

I have just ordered the Finepix S5600, batteries, charger and 1gb XD card from Amazon for £145. I haven't seen a bad review for this camera on any of the sites I have looked at over the last few weeks.0
