Everything which is not prohibited is permitted. If the contract says nothing either way, you are permitted to discuss. And even if it prohibits discussion, I think that the legality and enforceability is a bit dubious.Never ever assume that at all. Do you have it in your contract that you are allowed to talk about salary and pay rises? Mine had a ruling that you were not allowed to do so.You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
I used to do the same job as someone who was on about 5K a year more than me, and refused to do overtime or night shifts!
Its pretty standard for there to be variations isn't it?0
