I am being transferred to a new employer under TUPE legislation. As I havent worked for the old company for 2 years should I put myself forward for voluntary redundancy ? Going to work for the new company isnt an option for me and I wont qualify for statuary redundancy.

It only makes sense if there is a package.

Hi !, yes it is the new company that are asking for voluntary redundacies. The new job is 112 miles away so not an option as it involves unsocial hours eg night shifts, cant drive that distance after a shift. I will know more about the package next week so watch this space ! Without 2 years in for the outgoing company I may just have to take what I can get ! Will keep you posted !
Such a shame leaving the job I have loved, but lots of people worse off so counting my blessings.0
