I just did a search to see if anyone had heard of Coursera. I've signed up for two courses. One which will help when I go to University in the next year or so and the other one which will help in the field I work in.
Lots of the courses come with a 'certificate' to show you have studied them and passed the course. Obviously if you're looking for courses that would help with your CV then if it's relevant to the field you want to work in that is best but either way learning 'for the sake of it' shows motivation, self improvement and the general desire to learn which are all appealing attributes!
