Free Laptop from Open University Course

Does anyone know how much an Open University course costs and if there are any in physiotherapy

A friend of mine says they bought a laptop with money they were sent to buy materials for their course but said they didnt have to pay anything to do the course

The OU has changed its pricing policy and now courses are charged for, although you can get student loans the same way as for other universities. It is possible that your friend studied at a time when they qualified for free tuition (for example, if they were on certain benefits).

Costs vary according to the course you choose, and a quick glance doesn't reveal any physiotherapy courses - perhaps because I would imagine you need 'hands on' type of studying? The list of Health and Social Care courses is here:

kfb is correct, physio is too hands on to study by distance learning, although if you did not have any other knowledge in this area it might be a way to cover the basics?
