im dreading making it because its been years since ive made pastry for a pie but ive got to do it!!:o0 -
I just !!!!! mine with a fork and cook until its cooked through. 15 minutes + depending on the thickness.
If I have time I prefer to add the filling cold too. Not always possible I know.

Just my twopenny worth.....but.....I never blind bake for pies such as steak pie or chicken and mushroom pie.............especially not if cooking in a tin and not a dish! :-))0
