.... have a clear out day on your comp email?
I'll be honest, I'm not expecting any advice or helpful opinion at all after the last question I posted
("check")
But anyway, just opened the comp email and unsubscribed from everything that was there today (120ish emails, only been comping about a year!) I've decided that's all I'll do for the time being, so not to complete negate myself from those comps which require subscription emails, so was wondering how long it should be until I have the next cleanup. I'm angling towards 42 days, after all 42 is the answer to everything
As an aside, for those that don't know about it, Twit Cleaner is an awesome program if you're forever hitting the glass ceiling of following like I am. I don't FB so can't give an FB option I'm afraid

I never bother unsubscribing. I just scan through them and delete any that look like newsletters.
I use tweepi for clearing out my twitter, as I constantly hit my 2000 limit.0 -
Hi, I usually clear out a little after three months - from companies I don't recognise or I know the comps have ended. Hope that helps, Honey x:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I never unsubscribe either. I just go through my comping email every day and have it open on a tab so I can see when I get a new email and delete every email that comes in (unless its a WEM of course, but they're few and far between ATM)Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday

I'm just having a clearout after reaching 1800 unread emails - they're mainly newsletters. I should delete when I receive them, but I'm lazy and never do.0

I never bother unsubscribing, thanks for the lead to Twit Cleaner, God I was following some c****y sites. Should be a while before I get the 'can't follow any more' message again nowLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

No worries Sue, I use it to clear the inactive ones and then say 3 rows of the ones that don't follow me back. I keep the ones that do follow regardless of their TC 'crimes' as more followers = higher glass ceilingGolly, I've got the newt pregnant...

I have a junk mail folder which deletes them automatically after a week, I just check it every now and then incase there is anything important.0
-
I have around 20 folders with emails for each month in!
Why do you need to delete them at alL?????
Just create a folder for feb/march etc and send them into there for safe keeping (ive still got my first emails from 12 months ago)
That works on YAHOO/MAIL.COM/FASTMAIL/YEPMAIL/GOOGLE/WINDOWS LIVE...
So you dont need to delete just move them into folders and they are safe and it doesnt fill your email account up.Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0 -
I like my Mail that is with my iMac.
I don't unsubscribe to any emails. I check manually the emails as they come in. By that I mean, I don't receieve new emails until I check. I do this every hour or so, then delete ones which are just spammy and I'll go through the newsletters when I have spare time.
I have smart mailboxes that have filters on them.xx
