ideas for 30th birthday (2 days before xmas!)

Options
Hey peeps!

So my boyfriend turns 30 on 23rd December this year....(which is just really bad planning on his mums part!) And I don't have a clue what to do for it.

We are having a baby this summer so finances wont be great since I'll be on mat leave but i just can't think of anything that's not going to cost loads and still be memorable.

Even a meal out or a surprise party will be so difficult due to the time of year...everything's so much more expensive and people are always busy!

We live near Brighton and were considering going away (Vegas!) until we got pregnant, so now priorities have gotta change but we would still consider somewhere close to home...

He's a real adventurous type, we've done Xscape and Go Ape a couple of times etc....so if anyone has any ideas please post back!!

Much love xxx

So I am arranging an early party for him in October and then on his birthday we will have a tea for our children and grandchildren. I am also doing him 60 gifts some expensive some cheap and I ahve asked our children, we have 5, to buy him gift vouchers for tike tours Scotland, something he would like to do

My husband had his 65th birthday on Christmas Day and our son was 30 on the 19th December.

The family got together and we got them a "boys' day out" to a football match in London and a stadium tour. By the time we had clubbed together they had a hotel stay (we're in Scotland) and flights. They had a great time together.
