4.5.07 what small dfw thing will you do or have you done today?

Good morning people, newbies and old timers! It's Friday :j

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:

Today I will be:

- doing at least 3 mystery shops
- updating banking and spreadsheets
- sending everyone with packed lunches to school/work
- do a matched bet
- trying for a NSD except for mystery shop expenses

Have a good day everyone!

Hi there hypno and all. Well, today is D Day, my mother arrives, so at least I can stop cleaning (not Stardrops, but it would hardly be dfw to chuck out unused stuff, even if it was more expensive than Stardrops). There won't be much moneysaving activity going on either, mind you. This is more goodbye till next Thursday, really. Bye!

    Good morning all.

Well it's looking a bit dull here in Wales, where has the sun gone?

    Today I will/have
    - Paid some extra money off my Argos card
    - Checked online banking to make sure all is well there
    - Done piggy comps and clicks

Not very much, but as you say every little helps.

Have a good day everyone x

I have brought in my lunch and I'll claim my travel expenses and put them straight in the bank.

I've just paid £30 towards my Beneficial Finance Visa, going to put another couple of books onto amazon (sold two yesterday within hours of putting them up!), heading off for the weekend so going to clear the fridge by making some freezable meals with the contents.

Haven't done much as yet :o but plan to:-

    * Re-stock on flour to make HM Bread rather than shop-bought

    * Use discount card towards cost of decorating materials (saving 10%)

    * Clean out fridge/freezer and meal-plan for next week

    Have a good day everyone!
