Could anybody please advise me on something
Had an IFA at my home the other night, and i was really happy in what they said, but just wanted to confirm that the deal they had suggested to me , was the best , i tried researching it on the net, but couldnt find it.
I am a first time buyer (38years old)
No dependants
£20600 salary before tax
outgoings amonth £400
car £100 a month
Purchasing my council home one bedroom flat, valued at£45000
my purchase price is £16200
No outstanding Credits cards or anything
wishing to borrow £22000, on 15 year mortgage plan (extra for redecoration)
fixed rate for 2-3 years
..
The halifax was suggested as the best deal currently for me
Right to buy mortgage?
with no deposit fixed at 5.29% for (think it was either 2 or 3 years,
no set up/arrangement fee.
I cant seem to find it on the halifax web site.
Would you say that this is probably a good deal
cheers
