Free MobileTV from T-mobile (costs a text)

Got this offer with my nokia N73 from T-MOBILE
but it says any 3G phone will work.

should be £1 a day or £3.50 a month
but you can renew everyday for free until july 1
costs 1 text to get a http address.

Read all the info before you give it a go there may be hidden charges

    Great find but looks like you need to get a new t-mobile phone before 30th june,
    i was hoping you could use a free sim:)

    Terms & Conditions

    1. The T-Mobile MobileTV service is for personal use within the UK only.
    2. Compatible 3G handset and 3G coverage required. MobileTV service availability is also required.
    3. Monthly pass for UK use lasts for 31 days from time and date of activation.
    4. Daily pass for UK use lasts for 24 hours from time and date of activation.
    5. Browsing charges may apply when accessing t-zones. (About Mobile TV, Terms and Conditions, Help, t-zones Home)
    6. The MobileTV service may contain made or altered for mobile content that will be different to traditional TV broadcasts.
    7. T-Mobile may suspend, amend or withdraw any part of the service without notice to you.
    8. You must not (nor help anyone else to) copy (except as permitted by law), redistribute or relay the whole or any part of the service, sell or charge others for making use of the service in any way or show (whether for free or for a charge) any part of the service in public.
    9. If you download any MobileTV client software, you are responsible for ensuring that your phone has enough memory space to accommodate it.
    10. T-Mobile is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage caused by any use of the MobileTV service, including but not limited to any loss caused by the incompatibility of any software associated with the service with your phone.

    Promotional overlay terms and conditions:

    1. Purchase a compatible phone before 30 June 2007 and receive a free subscription to the T-Mobile MobileTV service until 30 June 2007.
    2. Subject to selecting a daily free subscription to the 24 Hour Pass (normally £1 a day).
    3. Normal daily or monthly pass charges apply from 1 July 2007.

    I've had a T-Mobile contract for seven months and received a mailer advertising the service this morning.

    I've tried it and it works, but it really is nothing to get excited about, and it's certainly not proper TV. It's just news headlines and excerpts from various programmes, streaming via the 3G data connection.

    In other words the same thing that 3 has been offering for years.
