Sorry, Im new to this particlar forum.

    Could I ask:

You all seem to state that it scans at Tesco is this the only place it scans (i.e. not Asda) or is it just coincidence that its Tesco that its tested at?

    Cheers

    Mike,

The coupons will scan anywhere that will accept them, I just think that most people find Tesco the easiest although some do have good success at ASDA and Waitrose.

It's because we use the vouchers without buying the product mentioned, it will scan off any shopping (as do pretty much any manufacturers' coupons BTW, if the supermarket sells that product).

Although Asda and Waitrose have the same sort of policy as Tesco do (i.e. they don't publicise it but they will accept some 'courtesy coupons' like this if offered by a customer in the know - i.e. an MSEer!), IMHO Asda and Waitrose often turn down book/mag tokens unless you've bought the item.

Tesco don't often turn down book tokens like this, esp if offered with a few other bits of barcoded paper (otherwise known as coupons, or 'my monopoly money' as OH calls it).

Check out the magazine thread by MBN which is continuously updated with any coupons found in magazines, if you get into the habit of looking at this thread every day and MBN's thread too, you can start to get yourself a nice coupon-wad - like what we lot have......and never pay a Tesco bill in full again!
