The problem last Monday was that not many stores actually advertised 90% off Christmas sale and though items did go through till taking 90% off original price, SAs in my local store did not bother putting the signs up.

    :hello:A local - yay!

Did they have much left in Stevenage (and was this the town centre or Roaring Meg)?
  • Got two rolls of wrapping paper yesterday, white with green and red holly and some gold with 6 matching tags. It was marked as £3.50 full price and the box of rolls had a 90% off poster on it.
When I took it to the till it scanned through at full price. The SA was as surprised as me and said she would give me the 90% off anyway as they still had the poster on the box, she said it like she was kinda doing me a favor and I got the impression the rest would be taken off the shop floor. Not really sure what was going on there!

This happened to me too yesterday, the xmas wrap and cards went through @ full price. The staff didn't know why as they knew it was 90% off. The manager had to manually put in the correct prices
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

I had a few things from the online 90% off sale in my shopping basket and they are now full price. No sign of the 90% off sale now.
