Advice please: DVD/VCR/Hard drive Combi

I hope this is the right place to post this!
Our daughter wants a DVD/video combi so she can record all her videos onto DVD's.
She has a Sky box in her room and its not a Sky + one, so we thought that a player with a hard drive as well would be useful for recording from the TV and saving the programmes to watch later.
She needs something simple to operate as well.
I wouldnt mind using it sometimes to record DVD's straight from my JVC Hard drive camcorder.
Her budget is not large! Can anyone recommend one??
Many many thanks

Most of the quality makes will cost £200 or over, ie Panasonic Sony JVC etc.
An Ebay search gives some more realistic prices, ???

Unfortunately I dont think it will be the same easy recording, as the Sky+ setup, which records straight to the hard drive. These combis will only record AFAIK from their own tuner to the hard drive. Sky recordings will have to be via a scart cable onto DVD or tape. A lot only have analogue tuners, so that part will sadly become obsolete very soon.
Havent got one so cannot recommend, maybe someone else canac's lovechild0
