im at A4E which has been the most useless back to work program ive ever been on in my life of being out of work..i even wish i could go back to the advisors at the job center which i thought were out of touch but did one hell of a better job,but im on work program 2 soon
aparently A4E send me back to the job center then i get sent back to A4E to do free work for my JSA..
anyone know what goes on as my advisor at A4E would rather chat and laugh with his collegues and facebook on his phone .
everytime i turn up he spends 3 mins with me. and the week bronze course ive been on the advisor would spend at the most 10mins a day with us each day and just keep moving us around because there was not enough room in there. A4E if you cannot get a job within the 1st month. they just ignore you which is a real shame..
but im wondering whats all this work program 2 anyone?

Have you looked into a literacy course? Your posts are far from illegible, but you make some pretty basic mistakes and when you are trying to sell yourself as the best candidate, such mistakes will ruin any chance you had. The courses are free, and can be arranged through the JCP, your local college and even some libraries.0 -
literacy course? im not applying for a job on here, i was asking for information.
So i gather you have no information about work program 2 then.0 -

The other poster was only trying to be helpful, there is no need to take offence. They have a point that your posts on here do show a large number of basic errors in literacy, but it is also possible that when you do applications you have a higher standard.
You are also correct in saying that you aren't applying for jobs on here, so you don't have to worry about literacy standards, however, from experiance, I find it a lot easier to read and thefore respond to posts which are easy to read and understand. People generally skim through posts, get the gist of them and respond. If this is not easily done, you will get less replies.
A lot of people struggle with the basic literacy (and numeracy) and there is no shame in it, there is lots of free help out there.
I am sorry I can't help you on your post re the work program question, but don't forget that most people on here make suggestions because they want to help you, not critisise you.0 -
here we go,too many do gooders and know it alls on here,0

Posters who criticise other's literacy skills really should ensure their own post's are flawless.

after posting on many forums over the years, this is the only one i got told off for not using a Spellchecker, i was just being lazy while posting on here but thanks for the advice with literacy course.
i have no problems with Maths or English and i have the qualifications to prove that.
I was just wondering if anyone knows about the Work Program 2 at the JSA which im going on next and if anyone here is on it?0 -
From the spelling of 'Pastie' and the claim to have adequate English qualifications the only conclusion is that the OP has a multiple personality disorder and we ought to consider this before replying.

Note that the work is not 'free', per se. You still receive all your benefits and for most the total income will not be significantly lower thab an after-tax salary.0
