This was the receipt I uploaded to Quidco which was declined for obvious reasons as it was illegible.

I emailed them with the story of how I'd ironed it to smooth out the creases and they have just paid up my fiver for the fosters.

    Afternoon :)

really nice day here. A garden day, loads of spring bulbs popping up everywhere. Hasn't half term gone quickly? :( Got to get stuck into ironing uniforms after lunch.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday :)
  • Apologies to all you teachers out there but I'm chuckling to myself while also shedding a tear having just found a bundle of my kids school reports from 10+ years ago :rotfl:

Dd 2 apparently was a charming and helpful girl who hadn't let a year of personal tragedy stop her making good progress ... she was 9.
This was the year her grandad who she adored died, her daddy left us suddenly then had a breakdown and killed himself 3 months later and her kitten got run over in front of her. And we got evicted from our home because we had no money.
Glad I can laugh at it now .... I remember crying over that report thinking my beautiful children shouldn't have to go through such things!!

Sorry all. . Good morning !

Is there anywhere to see new offers coming from Tesco? Such as offers starting tomorrow like half price or bogof?

Also when oh when oh when are they doing the next petrol and double points on frozen food promos? :)

Sort yourselves out T's, some of us are waiting here ;)

All this meat that is on DTD and what not, are you sure it's proper meat and not horse meat they are trying to get rid of?

Can anyone tell me what Longleat is like? I haven't been for about 30 odd years so I imagine it's changed a bit :D

I'm thinking about using some cc vouchers and taking 2yo DS there mid/end March when DP gets back to the UK, DS is Postman Pat mad so I'm interested to know what the Postman Pat world bit is like.

If it's not up to much we might go to Drayton Manor instead.

    Morning all

I think Longleat is a great day out. The house is pretty much unchanged (nice little cafe inside it as well - prices not very MSE though!)

Bat cave is fun. Train ride is still there, mazes, funfair, petting zoo. Safari part is great, you can bypass monkeys if you don't fancy leaving bits of your car behind :-) Nice section where you can park up and feed the deer.

It is one of my favourite days out. I went last with a group of people and the young kids really liked it.

At least the school/teachers knew what was happening and could support her. Too often unless the child tells us we don't get told what is going so its difficult to help.

Glad you are through the other side now.

Looking back I had a pretty traumatic childhood which I hope has made me more compassionate as a teacher.

So I sent a strongly worder email last night, after facebook page got me no where.
Still at least I got some meat:D.
