Hi all:A
Been missing for a little while as I have ruptured a disc in my lower back. Today is the first day in over a week I have been able to walk.
I hope I haven't missed anything important:D
Hugs(((((((((())))))))) to those that need them. I certainly could.
Going to have to do some serious catching up.
Big hugsBacks are so horrible and painful when they go wrong xxx
Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
As I said in an earlier post I'm not involved in that side of MSE in any way so you would need to direct any correspondence to the Forum team.
All I can do is try and keep this thread on the straight and narrow for you all and consequently posts discussing, or calling for reinstatement of, banned or PPR'd members are not helpful to that. Also it is against MSE rules to discuss them.0 -
I for one had a problem with a certain person posting totally inappropriate remarks about th mother of a child who disappeared. So I put him on ignore. And he then left the thread for whatever reason.
When he reappeared as a new person I actually helped him with a problem he was having with E-bay but received no response or thanks.
I have a problem with people having an alter ego as it is not very honest.0 -
I took my husband to Tosco (B*dw*rth) after work today and he chose which checkout to use because it was shortest - grrr! I went off to grab a few bits I had forgotten and he loaded onto the checkout reigned over by Queen Trout. She's always nice as pie until she glimpses coupons, then she becomes wonderfully condescending and pitying of the poor customer who needs to stretch their money in such a terrible way.
I had to dig out the Chocablock icecreams to prove I had bought them, then she pulled a face and said that they weren't valid as they are not the same as the picture on the coupon. I explained that the coupon is valid for any Chocablock product and she magnaminously agreed that I could use them.
Every coupon was greeted with "and did you buy this?". When I produced my wombled PP she acted like it was coming out of her wages, and insisted that she has to keep the receipt even though I hadn't got the 120 cc points transferred to my card.
Sorry about the rant, I just need someone to understand why I'm wishing the aforementioned checkout trout a wonderful weekend full of kittens and rainbows!0 -
Totally unrelated to my previous B00ts post - thought this was cheap?

you should complain to tesco head office, that is shocking. did she put the 120 points on your card or just take the receipt. according to the supervisor i spoke to the other day, the pp will only scan once and then any other copies will say 'already used' when tried to scan.0 -
I have to smash it all up then hide it in a dairylea triangle for Alfie;)His arthritis medicine is liquid so I syringe it on top of a dog biscuit, glad its not tablets because it'd cost me a fortune in Dairylea:eek:

Evening everyone:)Just back from a lovely whoopsie shop(Or shops;)) with Nannylala and did really well. Got loads of stuff including 8 loaves of Hovis for 14p each:T:TThought I'd try my luck and snap them as well;)Wombled loads of receipts and just gone through them all and snapped them, couple of diet cokes and bits.(Its just far to addictive this snapping lark!)
We got some lovely Finest flowers down from £15 to £1.50:TAnd then as we were leaving T's I spotted 2 !!!!! Willow trees both reduced down to £1.75 each:T:TSo obviously we went back for them;)And Nannylala treated herself to a chocablock after she found a huge stash of magazines. We went to S's and got some lovely heart cushions reduce from £10 to £3 so all in all a very productive shop..
You both need to come down here again, to find some for me please.
