    Was just working on a document for an hour (it was an email attachment)- daughters project....I made changes. I pressed save and closed it - it has GONE... where to?

    I know I should have "saved as" given that it was an email attachment. There is a temporary folder which I cannot access. Any techies here who can help...pleaseeeee

    Click start then type in the name of the document in the search bar
    Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)

    I managed to stuff up something similar recently.
    DH said it's possible it saved into the cloud (whatever that means)
    I'm no techie so haven't a clue what he was waffling on about (I'm forever losing stuff!) but is it possible it's somehow saved back to e-mail as a draft or something?

    If you are in Windows 7 do a ssearch for a phrase in the document that you can remember
