... is anything definite on a glitch day apart from some will be able to benefit and it will end at some point and catch a few of us out :(?

From odd comments, it appears that on a glitch day not all multibuys glitch (so me looking at MSM may not help me)?

Hi again - I'm back (have been for a while) and have caught up with this thread now:). Regarding the broken links on the first page, I'll fix them in due course - please bear with me. In the meantime, I'll put a link in post #1 to the post (many thanks) where they are linking correctly.

I've seen the post that the multibuys on MSM have now gone and wondering if they're fixing it - I doubt it, as I suspect no-one will be working at MSM at 11pm and the computer will be scanning the home shopping sites and resetting itself automatically - no idea whether, or when, anything might work down into the APG. Perhaps MSM's New York office has just pressed to reset the system at the end of their working day??

I am hoping it works for my shops, else I will absolutely damn work for not being here earlier in the day. I am considering going part-time now, as I will probably make more money if I don't go to work and stay the full afternoon but catch the glitches instead. Rather than missing them and losing more money! It might pay more *not* to be in work!!

It's a long and trepidatious (if that's a (new?) word) wait till I can check the receipts on my two shops (both vs T) - and you'd think someone up above had planned it all - one is due two minutes to midnight and one just after midnight - so I may catch the glitch on one but not the other. I am 'scared' to look at MSM anymore this evening now!!

In reply to Anon, regarding looking at MSM, these glitches today have been working even though the Sada multibuys have been showing on MSM.co.uk. It seems the brief disappearance from the website of the multibuys a couple of days ago - which didn't (as far as I know) cause a glitch back then, is now having effect. In fact it helped, just prior to 8pm, when I was planning my shops, that the m'buys were showing on MSM, but glitching on the APG.

Several of the m'buy offers were not showing on the price SELs in my store when I went to buy, but they still came off on the till. MSM over an hour ago (rather anxiously) had no m'buy showing on the Princes Grapefruit segments, which had been showing £1.15/ 2 for £1.50 for A at 8pm but now (9.30pm - I daren't look again) showed just £1.15 for A (this in fact matched my Sada's shelf, but the m'buy is showing - 2 for £1.50 - on sada.com). I'm hoping those multibuys don't come back on MSM tonight/the APG. If you check MSM now and see none there, it may not help unless you already know the product is on m'buy at A. So it doesn't help identify the multibuy items to buy. It was glitching when they were showing (possibly a delayed seismic-like effect from the absence two days ago) but now they're not on MSM (if that's still so) whether it will mean glitch or no glitch I don't know.

I might think it was safe (or at least much safer) if they remained absent from MSM; however this might not be any guide at all and who knows how the computer works. I'd certainly prefer it if the m'buys continue not to be on MSM till well past 12midnight - a bit of a wait anxiously waiting otherwise...:eek:

only joined Quidco couple of weeks back, but contemplating joining TCB too - do many people use them?

I would strongly encourage you and FloFlo to sign up to TCB cashback - you can make money on most items you buy online including switching electricity, insurance, car insurance, mobiles and lots of other deals including some (like the Dominos last week) which are little or no risk and cashback for nothing.

I have saved/made quite a bit over the years through this (and other cashback sites), saving on what I was going to buy anyway and also taken up some deals specifically for cashback.

Just back from As so I hope the glitch fairy is still in our favour as otherwise I have stocked up on a few items for no reason ...

I'd just say I'll disappear from here for a mo. as I go to check the APG as soon as I possibly can. Fingers crossed and real hoping eyes down for a lot of red on the Tosco side and a lot of black on the A side!
  • Though as much... still works out at only about 30p a pop though... dunno if my missus could handle me coming home with more shower gel as we have loads still from the Lynx / dove glitch

Damn... she has nudged me that she wants more!!!!!

Am I right in thinking it compares to Tescos so I can get the body spray stuff too?

Yes comps to tosco and you can get the mcv medley bars and innocent juice in that shop:D

I've bought items I will use up (or donate - a lot of tinned fruit - to one of the local food banks), so if the APG glitches it will be a bonus. Regarding TCB, I'm a member and it's free - I recall seeing an offer on the last thread in the last few days or so where Quidco were showing as giving more cashback - do you think we can use TCB's top cashback guarantee to get the Quidco benefit?

Surely that depends how much you drink and how quickly.

If I pour our all 2 litres and drink it in 20 minutes it will have more fizz than if I pour out a can and take 4 hours to drink it.

Either way my OH drinks it like water, so it doesn't stand a chance of going flat in our house.
