am watching that drama on BBC about magdalene sisters, heartbreaking my dear granny talked of it when I was a child......I didn't understand it at the time. She had moved to Scotland from NI shortly after she got married.....my pappy worked in the pits....Granny had a cousin I think? that went there for getting pregnant.........so sad

I found reduced to clear toothbrushes (2 A protect for 10p), toothpaste and assorted items in a superstore so the reductions mentioned are not just in ex-Netto stores as has been the case with other clearances.
